All major radio groups, both Country music trade organizations,
all three music licensing organizations, as well as independent
industry professionals are involved in CRB activities.
The CRB is not a membership organization, and so, therefore
does not collect dues. It relies on proceeds from its' initiatives
for funding. The CRB accepts donations, which can be directed
for a specific purpose, such as the Country Music Disc Jockey
and Radio Hall of Fame, or the CRB Scholarship Fund.
Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. Initiatives include:
The Country Radio Seminar (CRS)
One of the largest media gatherings of any kind, each spring
this Nashville convention and trade show brings together

music industry professionals for three days of "growth through
sharing." Radio attendees include Program Directors,
General Managers, Promotion Managers, Sales Executives
and Air Talent.

radio stations not able to attend CRS in Nashville. Cities

Kansas City, Hartford, San Antonio, Charlotte and most
recently, Las Vegas.
www.crb.org
CRB's website publishes a weekly article on a topic of interest
to Country radio. These Executive Memos are sent free of
charge to thousands of subscribers and are also available
to anyone on the website. The website also offers an online
forum for individuals to communicate online regarding radio
and records. Contributors are prominent industry leaders
including Rusty Walker, Jaye Albright, Mike McVay, Reba
McEntire, among many others.
New Faces of Country Music
Each year, the CRB surveys CRS radio station attendees to
determine the most promising artists of that year. This
is often the very first national honor that a Country artist
receives. These artists perform for radio at the New Faces
of Country Music dinner, which concludes CRS. Nearly every
major Country artist today, including Tim McGraw, Reba
McEntire, The Dixie Chicks and Alabama, are former New
Faces.
The Country Music Disc Jockey and Radio Hall of Fame
CRB is the only organization to honor the contributions of
Country Music Disc Jockeys with their own award. This is
the greatest honor that a country air personality can attain.
The Radio Hall of Fame award honors those who have made
significant impact on the growth of Country radio as Program
Directors, General Managers, owners and other off air positions.
