April 17, 2009 Talent With A Capital T; A Panel of Experts John Paul Program Director KUPL/Portland
It's not often you can get the top talent coaches on one stage at the same time. This year CRS-40 did just that with the panel "Talent With a Capital T: A Panel of Experts." Normally, we're lucky if we can have one top talent coach, but all the best at once was a huge treat. Mike McVay moderated a great panel that consisted of Tommy Kramer, Randy Lane and Valerie Geller. Some of the most respected talent coaches on one stage giving away thousands of dollars in free advice and tips. The talent coaches talked about a wide variety of topics that pertain to today's talent. They talked about storytelling, painting a picture in the listeners mind, different camera angles, character development and more. You can watch the video of the entire panel at crb.org. I encourage you to order some pizzas, invite all the jocks into the conference room and play the panel for your entire air staff. The fifty minutes you'll spend will be priceless.
Part of what CRS is for is to teach you new things and get you access to people that you may not normally get to see. That was accomplished with this panel.
