Champagne Imaging on a Beer Budget

Clint Marsh

Now more than ever, regardless of the size market or company that you’re in, you’re probably….no, you ARE being asked to do more with less. Less money, less people, less resources, and less time. That’s why, if you’re in any way responsible for the imaging or branding of your radio station, or stations, you needed to be a part of the CRS 40 panel “Champagne Imaging on a Beer Budget”.

Dave Savage, Director of Branding for Clear Channel Communications, Robin Marshall, President of Robin Marshall Creative Services, and Dave Morris of Morris Voice Over’s kept the crowd engaged with great ideas for the conception, writing, voicing and production of great station imaging.

When time and money are tight, staying creative and inspired are even more difficult. Anyone who’s ever sat staring at a blinking curser on a computer screen, trying to come up with a different way to say the same old thing knows how hard it is. Where do you look for inspiration? How do you remain topical? Is fresh only for the produce department, or can your stations be fresh on a regular basis. How do you get the most out of your voice talent? How can we say things in a totally different way? Can radio STILL be theater of the mind? All questions that you would have the answers to, if you had been in attendance for “Champagne Imaging On a Beer Budget” at CRS 40. I’ll see YOU at CRS 41!
