Has your "tweeting" lost its chirp? Does Facebook feel like a heavy encyclopedia now? Has MySpace become everyone else's and now feels crowded? Hey, 'New Media' isn't new anymore. In fact, the fastest growing audience online on some of the most popular social networks is the same audience that country music programmers say they program to. But how do you use the tools that were such novelties a few months ago and now are just a part of everyday life? How can you utilize everything together and make a better product?
This means you have to get in the game. Online marketing is an even playing field... large or small market, large or small label, we’re all on the same web. Now you've got your website, your myspace, your facebook, your twitter, your filming or you're being filmed, etc. ..what do you do? What works best? How do you make all of these tie together? We are going to tell you. Our panel will include the label perspective (Katie Dean/UMG), the marketing perspective (Stephen Linn/CMT), the large market perspective (Joel Burke/KYGO) and the small market perspective (Katie Bright /WAXX). The panel will be moderated by Jennie Smythe/Girlilla Marketing who works online with artists such as Zac Brown Band, Gloriana, Randy Houser and more.
